Deep Underground Neutrino Experiment

The Deep Underground Neutrino Experiment (DUNE) is a leading-edge, international experiment for neutrino science. DUNE is designed to resolve some of the deepest open questions in physics through the study of neutrinos.

Scope of the workshop

Given the growing complexity of technology in the AI era and the unprecedented volume of collected data, this workshop addresses pressing software and AI challenges in the DUNE experiment, with emphasis on the PHLEX framework (Parallel, Hierarchical, and Layered EXecution of data-processing algorithms). DUNE collaboration members, physicists, computer scientists, and software engineers will discuss PHLEX adoption through hands-on sessions and AI/ML libraries.
